To build strong, healthy communities, the Foundation invests in strategic partners that positively impact our culture and children.
Who We Are
Because of their commitment to the community and the belief that they have been blessed, Dan and Pamella formed their Foundation in 1992 to support those causes and organizations that are near to their hearts.
Dan is Chairman, President and CEO of DP Fox Ventures, LLC, a diversified management company with interests in real estate, transportation, and sports and entertainment. In real estate, DP Fox has various projects in Michigan and The Bahamas. In transportation, DP Fox owns and operates Fox Motors, a retail automotive group representing more than thirty manufacturers across multiple locations. In the business of sports, Dan is President/CEO of the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL). He also serves as the Chairman for the Orlando Magic (NBA). Dan is a graduate of Northwood University.
Pamella started pamella roland, her clothing design business, in 2001. The pamella roland collection now has retail distribution at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and other leading retailers across the country and around the world. In addition to her role as Owner/President of the company, Pamella also is the label’s designer. She plays a definitive role in creating and designing each piece, with the final say on shapes, fabrics, colors, and function. Her collection has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious 2003 Gold Coast Award. In 2010 she became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Pamella is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Like their parents, Dan and Pamella live out their community-focused commitment by giving back to West Michigan. In the past two decades, they have provided their leadership, insight, and financial support to a wide range of area organizations. Thanks to their firm belief in supporting West Michigan, they have had a positive and lasting impact on the community’s arts and culture, health care, economic development, and education. Some of the many organizations to benefit from their philanthropy are: Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, Hope Network, Spectrum Health, Frederik Meijer Gardens, Northwood University, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
